Re: Ready or Not
I remember playing SWAT, it was so enjoyable. I hope this will rise up to my expectations! Hoping to see a very realistic SWAT game.

Re: Ready or Not
From what I gathered , this is gonna be extremely cool and brutal- their damage system is sick. Blood splashed , body parts 0.0

Re: Ready or Not
The spiritual successor to SWAT 4, I've been looking forward to this for quite some time.
Hopefully it'll be what Six Siege aspired to be initially.

Re: Ready or Not
A French website actually had some leaked information on it's release but seeing that the dates that were specified in it are all but long past, that source is obviously discredited.
The game has promise, but as with all these small time developers, which is really just a group of friends with a joint passion for a game setting, is really a hit and miss most of the time - but that's not to say I don't have hype for this game, it was massive when I saw their third devblog was released; they also respond to emails well which is always good to see for a game's development. Just have to wait for the 10,000 closed alpha/beta they've promised for die hard followers lucky enough to get a code, but god knows when that's actually going to happen.

You should check out Escalation 1985, that's another little game gaining traction about a 'cold war gone hot' scenario set in, believe it or not, 1985, packed with the British, US, West Germans, as well as general Soviet states and some other nations from NATO. That's set to be shown in a presentable state sometime next year supposedly according to the developers, but you really never know. They're aiming for morale effects to gameplay, some type of nuclear warhead integration to the game and matches, and are heavy on tank and other vehicular combat (but that's not to say they're not focusing a lot on ground combat also).
