Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
It'll be bad, and at the very least a disappointment.
Whilst none of it looks outright 'bad' (other than the blatant micromanagement that the camp system seems to be to boost 'morale' and 'companionship' levels up, which'll be a slew from what it could actually be, something interesting) is this really all they could come up with in eight years?
I adored the original, so this isn't me being some uneducated retard commenting on an ip I have no clue about, but just really? A six minute cutscene-to-cutscene 'gameplay trailer' with 10-15 second actual gameplay intervals in-between, with the same cringe female voice-over explanation of their 'diverse' and 'engaging' systems like 'no game before' that they've been doing since 2013?

It's funny that all the game company's are scared for RDR2 and that they "Delayed" their game.

You're literally laying down and allowing what is causing you to cry about the video game market in the first place - micro-transactions and bullshit extra spending - the Take-Two Interactive CEO (of which Rockstar Games, North, etc. are a subsidiary) has even confirmed micro-transactions will be in all their games from here on out.
Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Examples? The only AAA game that's been delayed is BFV, of which dropped 10% in stock the moment they announced their delay to November 20th, and are down 85% in pre-orders already - there's financially zero reason they would delay. Even if they're releasing between BO4 and RDR2, they'll still get sales on their game, same as Battlefront 2 got boycotted and jumped up in sales the moment they removed micro-transactions. EA doesn't have to worry about releasing between the two biggest IPs of the year, especially considering they nearly bought out and had Take-Two in their pocket back early 2008.

- “We aim to have recurrent consumer spending options for every title that we put out at this company. It may not always be an online model. It probably won’t always be a virtual currency model, but there’ll be some ability to engage on an ongoing basis with our titles after release across the board." - Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
